Catherine Grant, MA

Bailey, Tucci, Michael, Bridget and Teddy Bear

Catherine Grant, a member of Pet Sitters International and owner and operator of Comforts At Home Pet Sitting, is proud to offer reliable and professional pet sitting services for residents in the SE Vancouver and Camas areas of Washington.

In addition to operating her pet sitting business, Catherine is a retired marriage and family therapist and is a certified Quantum Touch practitioner, specializing in pain management for pets and people.

She continues to be a devoted animal lover with her companion Tucci, a beautiful 9 year old cat. Sadly, her Border Collie Bailey and Bridget, her feisty Bichon Frisee passed away in 2016 and 2017. Catherine's beautiful green Severe Macaw named Michael passed away in October 2014. She misses them all very much!

Raised on the East Coast, Catherine grew up taking care of a variety of household pets. Dogs, cats, hamsters, guinea pigs, birds, wildlife, and horseback riding all contributed to Catherine’s love of animals. There’s never been a time when she hasn’t had a pet companion in her home!

Catherine's other passion is energy healing, a non-invasive technique for targeting the cause of pain in pets. She has been an energy healer since 2002 and would love to extend to your pet a free introductory session when you book a pet sit with Comforts At Home Pet Sitting or as a stand alone session. Distance healings are also available!

Energy Healing and Quantum-Touch® are great ways to ease chronic pain and anxiety in animals, especially seniors who have arthritis and other age-related issues. Catherine occasionally uses energy healing when she's pet sitting for animals which are anxious and stressed being separated from their owners. She finds that it calms them down and gives them a sense of security while they are alone.
